Tracking and Analytics

  • Ace of Air is a research-backed supplement company based in the USA who are in the process of relaunching, following a takeover by a new high-level management team with a strong track record in growing companies. As a certified B-Corporation, Ace of Air’s values align closely with Bushy's and they seek to leave a positive impact as a byproduct of doing business.

  • In order to quickly validate new audiences online, the Ace of Air team wanted to test new paid advertising channels to reach their ideal customers.

    After initially launching some soft ads, they realised they weren’t confident enough in the quality and accuracy of their data and its attribution, especially post iOS14.

    As a result, it made it difficult to make smart business decisions on which channels and creatives to scale profitably vs those that should be cut.

  • Bushy performed a ‘lite’ audit of the Ace of Air tracking and analytics set-up to identify any issues or areas for improvement.

    During this process, we checked Google Analytics, Google Adwords & Facebook Conversions API were set up to best practices for advertising post iOS.

    After finding the Google Adwords conversion events weren’t optimally set up, we were able to quickly deploy a customised event tracking solution that not only would correctly track sales but also provide deeper insights into customer's shopping behaviours post click, through the integration of rich shopping cart data.

    As a result, Ace of Air now has full visibility into their customers' shopping habits post-ad-click, and can quickly see which journeys lead to the most conversions, helping them optimise campaigns faster, understand buyer journeys better and reduce wasted ad spend, crucial in today's highly competitive advertising space.

    Following our work, the team now also have total confidence their Google Analytics & Facebook events are tracking correctly, allowing them to build clean Lookalike & remarketing audiences across multiple platforms, aiding their full-funnel marketing strategy from top to bottom.

    We also helped rapidly deploy custom code updates to their theme to help improve the customer experience and product understanding for brand new visitors, as a result, their conversion rate should see a lift.

Performance & Impact Optimisation

  • Drybags.co.uk specialises in selling waterproof drybags and gear for outdoor enthusiasts online. As a result, their audience has a strong affinity for nature and preservation of the environment since so many of their hobbies depend on it.

  • Drybags was experiencing good success and organic growth, but wanted to enhance their website & marketing performance since they felt some areas were poorly optimised. As part of this we suggested enhancing impact visibility and optimising key revenue generating pages in the store.

Omnicharge

Email Marketing

  • OmniCharge is a US-based creator of charging banks for digital nomads and work-from-anywhere professionals allowing you to fully charge your laptop and other large devices in a short period of time. OmniCharge is well established and growing steadily.

    As a result, they decided they wanted to invest in improving their brand experience and customer journey. Given that the website often takes priority in matters of user experience, the email side can easily be overlooked. However, since every customer will receive email communications, it’s critical that email is given the attention it needs to communicate effectively and appropriately. That’s where Bushy came in…

  • Prior to approaching us for help, OmniCharge were utilising the standard default order notification emails provided by Shopify (like many other retailers).

    Whilst functional, these order notification emails are generic at best and don’t provide the most enjoyable customer experience.

    Since Order notifications and transactional emails receive some of the highest open rates out of any email type, it’s an excellent opportunity to capitalise on by ensuring your visual styles, branding & messaging are on point and resonating with your identity.

    When overlooked, this incongruency can easily cause gaps in your branding and how you come across to your customers which may seem small at the time, but can easily compound in the long run to higher rates of customer churn.

  • After identifying a total of 18 order notifications that were required to cover all use cases, we then set about recreating them one-by-one adhering closely to the brand guidelines provided by OmniCharge.

    Included in the overhaul were:

    -Order Confirmation

    -Shipping Notifications

    -Account setup emails

    -Return updates

    -Invoice & PDF download for B2B customers

    -And more!

    Using brand assets provided, we worked up every template including the key Shopify liquid variables needed for each use case to ensure data would be dynamically pulled into each customer’s email.

    Once completed, we then tested to make sure the designs were fully mobile responsive to ensure a consistent brand experience no matter the device being used.

    Following the client’s green light, we then set about exporting the individual HTML and image assets from the client's chosen email marketing platform, Klaviyo, into Shopify ready to send enabling a smooth transition.
